Pastor Walt became a licensed pastor in 1977, was ordained Deacon in 1979, and ordained Elder in 1981.
Pastor Walt (as he prefers to be called) began his ministry in 1976 when he joined the staff of Second UMC of Millville, NJ as youth pastor. He has served the Lower Bank Circuit (Lower Bank, Green Bank, & Weekstown), Zion and Asbury UMCs in Egg Harbor Twp, Fourth and Newcombtown UMCs in Millville, and West Grove UMC in Neptune prior to coming to Audubon. Dr. Jesuncosky has also served in numerous positions in the church and community including Chair of the Commission on Archives and History (Greater NJ UMC), Director of the Millville Cluster of UMCs, President of the Greater Millville Ministerial Association, Chair of Pastoral Care for SJ Hospital System (Millville Division), member of the Conference Board of Discipleship (evangelism section), chair of the District Committee on Building and Church Location, vice-president of the Conference Board of Trustees, Volunteer Chaplain/Pastoral Care Department of Jersey Shore Medical Center (Neptune, NJ), member District Committee on Superintendency, member Advisory Board of Bethany Christian Services (for South Jersey), member Key Communicators (Audubon Board of Education), member Audubon Ministerium, and Candidacy Mentor for potential clergy candidates.
