Walk to Emmaus (copy 1)

The Walk to Emmaus gets its name from the story of Luke 24:13-35, which provides the central image for the 3-day experience and follow-up. Luke tells the story of that first Easter afternoon when the risen Christ appeared to the two disciples who were walking together along the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus.
The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program which features 3-day retreats called walks. Participants learn the major themes of Christianity and they enjoy fellowship, food (lots of it!), special worship services, and lots more. It's a weekend of spiritual growth, renewal and relaxation.
The next weekends are May 1-4 (men's) and May 15-18(women's). For the fall the dates are Oct. 9-12 (men's) and Oct. 16-19 (women's). The registration deadline for the May weekends is April 15. The location is in South Seaville, NJ. The cost is $110.
Carol Tait, Linda Holonia, Barbara Hertfelder and Diane Stanley all attended. Feel free to speak to any of them about the Walk to Emmaus.
Contact Diane Stanley if you are interested in attending one of the weekends.
